Germany still plays the leading role in terms of EV vehicle registrations in Europe. The UK, France, the Benelux countries Belgium and
the Netherlands, as well as the Scandinavian countries Sweden and Norway follow.
Even though EV registrations in Germany are increasing significantly, the share of all vehicles is still only 3%.
In addition to Tesla, European brands dominate the portfolio, but Chinese brands have been entering the market since 2022.
